At Mediaplanet, we publish 20-25 niche digital & print campaigns on various topics. The campaigns are brought to life through story telling, and we are looking for a Digital Content Coordinator – Freelancer to join our Production Team!

Experience: We’re seeking freelancers with a range of skills and experience in digital content management (WordPress CMS), copywriting, copy editing, and Adobe Creative Suite.

Duration: Freelancers will be required for 2 to 4 weeks during June and with the possibility of extension for further freelance work.

Responsibilities:

• Assist production team with the execution of online content including the creation of additional webpage elements (such as infographics)
• Edit print articles in line with digital best practices to ensure engagement and readability
• Ensure the launch of content occurs on-schedule and adheres to quality standards
• Work with the Content & Production Manager and Web Editor to build knowledge, inspiration, and best practices around digital content through quarterly training sessions

Required Qualifications

• Experience using Adobe Photoshop and InDesign is a must
• Experience using Google Drive (Docs, Sheets)
• Experience using Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Desired Qualifications

• CMS — WordPress experience would be considered an asset
• Knowledge of search engine optimization (SEO) best practices
• Knowledge of branding foundations and design skill
• Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
• Knowledge of French would be considered an asset

The role will be remote, but individuals are required to be available Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm. Compensation for this freelance position starts at $20/hr.
